The 1996 Rhino boy
Ride-To-Be . . .

is a 1993 Volkswagen Corrado SLC.

A what?! We're finding that many people have not even heard of this car, but it is a flyer! Imported with the VR6 motor (a narrow-angle V-6 engine) only during the years of 1992 to 1994, the car sold in very limited numbers and is something of a collectors item. The car is very nimble and the VR6 motor is super-smooth with a wide power band.

The car doesn't look like much just yet, but it will before you know it. The full roll cage is set to be installed beginning May 4th and it should debut May 18th at Blackhawk Farms in the National race there.

Watch this space for more information as this car grows from a humble street car to Showroom Stock Race Car!
